Bernard F. Gaffney
Skilled as both a litigator and transactional attorney, Mr. Gaffney has extensive experience in negotiating commercial contracts as well as litigating various types of commercial disputes. He has been responsible for all aspects of transactional matters on behalf his corporate clients, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial and legal terms and conditions. He has helped conclude a wide variety of major business agreements including consortium and strategic alliance agreements, long term purchase and sale contracts, stock purchases, industrial property leases, inventory management agreements, turnkey and construction contracts and various service agreements. He has significant experience in technology related agreements including drafting and negotiating technology transfer agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure and proprietary design agreements. He also has significant experience in negotiating international agreements, and has helped to conclude several major business agreements on behalf of Fortune 500 companies in Asia, South America, and Europe.
